The Two Oceans Aquarium looks forward to welcoming the SAMSS Conference delegates and invites you to connect with the wonders of the ocean, through the diversity of marine life thriving in our exhibits. We are offering a 50% discounted rate for the delegates between 9 and 12 September 2025 only. Please make sure that you have your delegate badge with you to present to the ticket office to claim your special delegate entrance rate. The Aquariums daily opening hours are from 9h00 to 18h00.

The first of its kind in South Africa, the tunnel offers an unparalleled and unique glimpse into South Africa’s stunning marine life. The Kelp Forest Exhibit is the perfect space to stop and take a moment to admire a glimpse of the Great African Sea Forest. The iconic African penguins are a must see, together with their neighbours, the rockhopper penguins. Walk through the African penguin exhibit to take note of the #NOOW African penguin awareness campaign. A visit to the Aquarium would not be complete without visiting the ragged tooth sharks in our Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit.
